Seamed edge – removes the sharpness for safer handling.
After the glass is cut the edges are sanded to remove the sharp edges. This is to make the glass safe to handle. Choose a seamed edge if the glass is to be framed and in applications where the edges are not visible.
Flat edge – a polished “square” edge.
The edge of the glass will be polished to a smooth shiny finish. Choose a flat polish when the edge of the glass is visible and you prefer a minimalistic look.
Pencil edge – a polished round edge.
The edge of the glass will be polished to a smooth shiny rounded finish.
Beveled edge – a straight sloped edge.
The edge of the glass is cut and polished in an angle with a specific bevel width.
